Highlights
- ASAP - ongoing
- 6-8 FT or 10-12 providers for Mon-Fri with emphasis on Mondays and Fridays
- Schedule Needs: 7a-3p or a 24 hr shift a week and two 8hr shifts a week – (if 40hrs a week is desired), Also looking for 24hr coverage (7a-7a) and some weekends (no 10s or 12s)
- Min availability: halftime or .5 FTE equivalent
- Typical Cases Seen: All subspecialties. General, thoracic, cardiothoracic, transplant (renal), neuro, ortho, GI/GU, GYN, endo, cardiac interventional/EP, high census high acuity OB/L&D, neuro-interventional, robotics, overflow trauma (not a designated trauma center)
- Generally, 18 targeted locations per day or more | the site covers 20 OR, 3 L&D OR, 2 EP OR, 1 GI lab, 1 TEE/CV lab, 1 MRI location, 2 IR locations.
- Staff mix: The concurrency is 3:1 or 4:1 (target 3:1 due to size, locations, and acuity). Physicians also do some rooms independently. Everyone works together. Anesthesia techs 1:4 locations, very helpful (they check machines, set up lines, etc).
- PA license (will consider those who need a license, but preference given to providers already with a license), ACLS, BLS, CPR
- Min 1 yr experience
- Typical OR days | will see thoracic patients
- Adults 100%
- Credentialing: 90 days; temp privs
- EMR: Epic
