Highlights
    • Dates: Every 4th weekend
    • Schedule: Friday 8:00 AM - Monday 8:00 AM 
    • Call: Morning rounds and then call 
    • Volume: 5-6 inpatients per day, 1-2 admissions per day
    • Duties: Hospitalist coverage and backup to the ED, rounding, will respond to codes
    • Procedures: Vent management, intubation, chest tube insertion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis
    • Trauma: level IV trauma center
    • EMR: Epic
    • Certifications: Active IA license, board-certified, BLS, ACLS, ATLS
    • Credentialing: Temporary privileges in two weeks
