On June 18, 2013, A psychiatrist reported for his first locums assignment in rural Central Wyoming. What was a routine assignment for this physician was a momentous occasion for a fledgling staffing agency, it was the culmination of years of effort which would became our launchpad. Fast forward to 2018 and Fusion’s phenomenal growth is beyond our founder’s wildest dreams. From a small group to dedicated individuals, the Fusion family has grown to nearly 30 members and is recognized within the industry as one of the best places to work for.
In mid-2017 we were able to partner with myaidforhatiti.org by sponsoring two physicians who joined Cindy Warner on her humanitarian trip to bring medical aid to the more rural parts of Haiti. Cindy told Fusion that people in these areas most likely haven’t seen a doctor in their lives and lack even basic Tylenol for a headache. Our two physicians were able to devote their time, talents, and innovation to touch the lives of 100’s Haitians on that trip. For Cindy, “this was our most successful trip yet.” It is heartwarming to know that we took a small part in bringing help and hope to the people of Haiti. This is a great example of what Fusion is all about. We think of our team Fusion more as a family, and in this case, we were able to do something to help out human family members in need.
